I started Keo Collective because I kept seeing good businesses making important decisions using data they didn't fully trust.

My background spans commercial operations, government, data analytics and financial markets. I've worked across corporate and government environments, including Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions on the Department of Transport portfolio and the Deague Group's Melbourne commercial office. Those environments taught me two sides of good business operations: the governance, structure and accountability required at scale, and the speed and commercial thinking needed to actually get things done.

I later worked with a private equity firm analysing data and global developments to understand their impact on financial markets — building models, forecasts, and the software and data systems behind them.

Engineering and manufacturing are also part of my family history. My great-grandfather founded McConnell Seats, and my family has continued building engineering and CNC manufacturing businesses for generations. I grew up around these businesses, which is a big part of why Keo focuses on professional services, engineering and manufacturing today.

Keo brings those experiences together: business analysis, data, software and commercial thinking. We find where information and processes are breaking down, work out what they're costing the business, and build practical systems to fix them.

The data foundation

A forecast is only as good as the data under it.

We own the capture, the storage and the model, so the chain from record to decision is unbroken. The same definition of throughput, margin or conversion is used in the dashboard, the forecast and the alert.

Data quality is measured, not assumed. Completeness, consistency and timeliness are scored before anything is modelled, and forecast accuracy is tracked against actuals afterwards.
